Five experts will decide the winners. We present the jury in the category Documentary

Three international juries will decide which radio works will take home prizes from the Prix Bohemia Radio festival. The ranking of works in the Documentary category will be in the hands of five experts.

Among those who will sit on the jury for the Documentary category will be director of the International Documentary Film Festival Ji.hlava Marek Hovorka. A graduate of the Department of Documentary Film at Prague's FAMU, he is also the co-founder of the network of European documentary film festivals Doc Alliance, the film market East Silver, and the online platform for distribution of documentary films DAFilms. He has developed several unique industry programmes, among them for example Inspiration Forum, Emerging Producers and Identity Festival. He is also active as a member of the editorial board of the bimonthly on documentary film Dok.revue and the revue "do". He arrives in Olomouc with experience from juries at international and documentary film festivals such as FID Marseille, CPH:DOX, Visions du reél, Karlovy Vary IFF, Cinema Verite Tehran, and It´s all true Sao Paulo.

Another spot on the jury will be taken on by doctoral student at the DAMU Department of Authorial Creativity and Pedagogy under Professor Ivan Vyskočil and also the author of many radio documentaries and plays, Eva Blechová. Her documentary Trinksaifen was home for us, which she prepared for Czech Radio, was nominated at Prix Europa 2013. She is currently an instructor at corporate development seminars and consultant at McKinsey & Co.

Twenty-one panel judges will decide the winners of the 35th Prix Bohemia Radio festival. Five professionals with experience from the radio environment both at home and abroad will be judges on the Documentary, Drama and News Report category panels. Six big names will decide the winner in the Multimedia category.

 Prior to the festival commencing, the panel of judges will pre-select works from those entered to go through to the final fight. The winners will emerge as the result of a ballot after the competition programmes are heard.

Also a jury member for documentaries is the audiovisual performer, sound artist and musician Stanislav Abrahám. As a sound designer and musician, he often performs in joint projects from the field of theatre and dance. His specialty is improvising with electronic musical instruments and creating sound collages using samples of sounds from objects and materials of daily use in real time. As an independent artist, he has realised sound installations in galleries, a radio-art composition for Czech Radio and a conceptual sound work in public space. His main interests also include the issue of the relationship between man and new media. He studies Audiovisual Studies at the Film Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, while also working as an assistant at the New Media studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he also leads seminars in sound design.

The first of the international figures on the jury is to be Alan Hall, a radio producer who is also known as an author of audio documentaries, music features and impressionistic radio. After leaving the BBC in 1998 he earned two awards, Prix Italia and Sonys, and founded the company Falling Tree Productions, which is today seen as one of the leading global production companies for radio documentaries.

These four jury members will be rounded out by journalist and author of radio documentaries Daria Corrias. She has been focused on audio-documentary shows since 2005 and leads the programme Tre Soldi dedicated to radio documentaries on the channel Radio 3. She is a member of the association of independent authors Audiodoc. Her work "L'isola che c'è" was officially selected for Prix Europa in 2012. She collaborates with the Swiss national broadcaster on the Italian cultural broadcast for Rete 2.
