During the night from the 20th to the 21st of August 1968, Czechoslovak Radio experienced one of the most noteworthy chapters in its history. The free broadcasts, which the radio managed to send out over a few August days in spite of the occupation by the Warsaw Pact countries, were of extreme importance.
Project '68 commemorated the events of Prague Spring and the invasion after precisely 50 years. Throughout all of 2018, it commemorated the watershed year with projections, concerts, conferences, a multimedia mobile game and reports and documentaries broadcasted on Radiožurnál and other Czech Radio stations.
Project will be showcased at Prix Bohemia Radio festival!
